Spring is the season to lean into purification, cleansing, renewal, and letting go of old attachments. This season of strong transition from cold to warm, from dark to more light, and from contraction to expansion offers us a compelling opportunity to embrace the process of change and growth with care and mindfulness. Join me to explore:
movement to get unstuck - activating the lymphatic system
regulating the flow of prana - become more aware of energy flow
steadiness and contentment to calm restlessness
Our practices are guided by the alignment based methodology of BKS Iyengar yoga, which are safe, accessible and personalized. Together with an integration of key teachings from Yoga philosophy our aim is to:
Release tension and old holding patterns from the physical and mental body.
Strengthen body and mind.
Tune more deeply into our selves by cultivating awareness.
Experience our more subtle inner nature.
Classes are interactive with observations and feedback offered to those who would like to benefit in that way. Our practice builds overtime on previously taught poses with ongoing refinement as we repeat, expand and deepen our practices.
